While we’re certainly taking things one day at a time, the prospects of high school basketball occurring in the DMV this winter are more promising now than they have been in quite a while. In anticipation of this, we will be rolling out preview content over the next several weeks. Here is a look at the Preseason All-Junior Teams for DC Private Schools. 

First Team

G - Rob LawsonRobLawson5'9" | PGArchbishop Carroll | 2022StateMD

Carroll will likely go as far as Lawson takes them. The dynamic lead guard is a one-man full-court press who is dangerous in transition. Lawson’s ability to get the best out of his teammates consistently will ultimately be key to his team’s success. 

G - Devin DinkinsDevinDinkins5'10" | PGGonzaga | 2022StateMD

Dinkins has stepped up in the biggest moments under the bright lights on many occasions throughout his relatively short high school career. We don’t expect anything different moving forward from this seasoned guard. 

G - Judah MintzJudahMintz6'4" | CGGonzaga | 2022State#68NationMD

Mintz is known for his scoring prowess but doesn’t get enough credit for his defense. Look for him to be a two-way impact player in every game. 

G - Shane LancasterShaneLancaster6'4" | CGSt. John's | 2022StateMD

Lancaster will have added responsibilities this season, and
