Cayden McDaniel Cayden McDaniel 6'3" | CG BFL Prep | 2023 State WA , 2023, Wilson (WA) – We really liked McDaniel’s advanced feel for the game on the offensive end of the floor. The 6-foot-2 combo guard can score in a variety of ways with his smooth perimeter jumper and ability to get to the cup off the bounce and finish around shot blockers. McDaniel rarely forced any action throughout this event and let scoring opportunities happen within the flow of the offense.
Andrew Meadow, 2023, West Ranch – Meadow continues to raise his stock in SoCal’s sophomore class because of the way he competes and how he impacts the game in a variety of ways. The 6-foot-6 wing/forward is a double-double machine who has great athleticism in space, rebounding ability on both ends and scores efficiently inside and out.
Jamiyah Neal, 2021, Hillcrest Prep (AZ) – The super bouncy wing showed a little bit of everything in his arsenal at the Premier 80. At 6-feet-7 with great length and long strides, Neal covers tons of ground in transition and glides smoothly to the rim for high percentage finishes. The senior also showed some solid ball-handling, passing and decision-making skills proving he can initiate offense when needed.
Jeremiah Nyarko Jeremiah Nyarko 6'7" | PF St. John Bosco | 2022 State #209 Nation CA-S , 2022, St. John Bosco – We’ve written extensively about Nyarko and how his combination of size, strength and athletic ability in the open and half-court settings make him an intriguing Division I forward prospect. The 6-foot-8 junior continued to show that he’s adding more to his perimeter game in this event, knocking down the three-point shot a consistent rate while still having an impact on the paint on both ends of the floor.
Jorge Ochoa, 2022, La Mirada – There’s no denying Ochoa’s confidence and versatility as a scorer. The 6-foot-7 forward has a fluid jump shot from the mid-range and three-point levels, possesses the ball skills to create shots for himself off the bounce and, in this event, didn’t settle for perimeter shots and used his size and strength to power his way to the rim for high percentage finishes.
