Below we will take a closer look at players based on the west coast who took part in the event and breakdown their performances.
Mike Foster Mike Foster 6'8" | PF Hillcrest Prep | 2021 State #17 Nation AZ , Hillcrest Prep (AZ) – The 6-foot-9 forward is an absolute best on both ends of the floor when fully engaged. Foster uses his quick twitch athleticism combined with his high motor and great frame to dominate the defensive boards and start transition offense with good outlet passes. Foster is a good rim-runner on the break who possesses the ball skills to lead it himself but also does a nice job of establishing early and deep post position. The undecided senior has face-up shooting and driving ability in his arsenal, as well.
Tyrone Washington Tyrone Washington 6'4" | PG AZ Compass Prep | 2021 State #33 Nation AZ , Compass Prep (AZ) – Washington, who recently committed to Creighton, is one of the guys who sets the bar on the west coast for how a scoring guard should play. The 6-foot-3 four-star prospect is a crafty ball-handler and uses changes of speed and his strong frame to create space in the half-court for scoring opportunities. Washington is equally good when knocking down a perimeter jumper or getting to the basket where he can score through or around contact.
Frankie Collins Frankie Collins 6'2" | PG Coronado | 2021 State #58 Nation NV , Coronado (NV) – Collins is a guy who has always been able to dictate the pace of the game because of his ability to read and sense momentum and decipher what’s needed of him whether its scoring or distributing. The 6-foot-1 high flyer is a dynamic playmaker in the open court who can finish through and above contact.
Kaden Perry Kaden Perry 6'10" | C Battle Ground | 2021 State #16 Nation WA , Battle Ground (WA) – The bouncy 6-foot-9 forward is a guy who just makes things happen on the floor with his energy and motor. Perry, who is bound for Gonzaga, is an elite offensive and defensive rebounder with his combination of vertical athleticism to go along with his willingness to crash the boards. Defensively, Perry is a very good rim protector – whether its blocking, changing or deterring shots at the rim – and his lateral speed and mobility allow him to switch onto guards in ball-screen action.
