South Wake Sophomore Travis Shearin put together a big time 2nd half, finding different ways of scoring the ball and knocking down some big time buckets. Does a nice job of creating space to get his shot off against defenders.
South Wake Sophomore Guard Daniel Baker was a huge part of the reason why his team stayed within striking distance as he provided a nice amount of scoring. He led his team with 19 Points on the day, showcasing his perimeter shooting ability as well as his ability to draw fouls and convert at the free throw line.
Village Christian Freshman Forward Deshawn Pickford is seeing a high amount of playing time which should only benefit him as he continues to develop. He does a nice job running the floor, finishing inside and playing the game with a high amount of energy.
Northwood Temple Sophomore John Bladwin is a project player that is currently seeing a small amount of minutes but he has one thing that can’t be taught, which is height. A legit 6’9 that has a chance to be good if he locks in and gets into top shape, he’s one to keep an eye on.
Northwood Temple Sophomore Guard Amare Bethel Amare Bethel 6'3" | PG Charlotte Country Day School | 2024 State NC is seeing more minutes this season and will only get better as time goes on. He’s put in alot of work during this offseason to get better and you can see flashes of it as well as a higher level of overall confidence.
Trinity Christian Sophomore Steven Lassiter Steven Lassiter 6'6" | PF The Burlington School | 2023 State NC is a new addition to the TCS squad but seems to be transition pretty well. At 6’6 with the ability to play on the wing or as a stretch Forward, it doesn’t take long to see why he is an intriguing prospect.
