I highlighted a few juniors who are set to make an impact this season in Northeast Ohio last week. This week, I’ll name off a few sophomores in the area who are set to take off after impressive freshman campaigns a year ago.

This was a player who really caught the attention of many coaches this offseason with the way he was able to make an impact with or without the ball in his hands. His athleticism is through the roof at just 15 years old and his basketball IQ has been impressive to watch. Johnson can really turn heads this season and is one of the more intriguing prospects in Northeast Ohio.

With Marlon BarnesMarlonBarnes6'5" | SGBrush | 2023OH and John Hugley gone, a name to keep in mind for the Arcs this season is forward Tyler WilliamsTylerWilliams6'8" | CBrush | 2023State#147NationOH. He fit in well playing alongside Hugley and I saw his confidence improve throughout the year as he became more assertive and tough near the rim. Expect Williams to be a centerpiece for coach Chet
