Some talented and versatile big men used their sophomore seasons or time on the court this summer to earn spots in the state rankings.

Here are the six centers who cracked the Kansas 2022 Player Rankings:

The 6-foot-8 Williams will be a towering presence for Kapaun this year. He showed this summer how well he moves and how disruptive he can be on defense. He is quick to move in the lane and thwart shots. He is an effective rebounder who can follow up misses. On offense he is willing to screen and help teammates, and he’s got great size on the block.

39 Jace LinenbergerJaceLinenberger6'7" | CHays | 2022StateKS, Hays:

Linenberger was already an important performer for Hays last season. The 6-foot-7, long, agile big will play an even bigger role this season. He moves well and has good hands and good coordination. He works hard on the boards and can play a lot of roles on offense.
