Beau Baker Beau Baker 6'7" | PF Washington County | 2024 State KY , Washington County – Baker averaged 7 points and 3 rebounds as an 8th grader last season as he split time between high school varsity and 8th grade games. Coming into this season, the 6’6 forward expects to average closer to 15 and 8 as a freshman. He’s also playing above the rim more and is a good athlete.
Omarion Barrett, Henderson County – One of the standouts for last year’s “8th grade state championship”, Barrett is a long wing who is going to play a major role for the Colonels this season as either a starter or the 6th man. He appears to be one of the better 2024 prospects in the western part of the state.
Alex Evans Alex Evans 6'4" | PF Elizabethtown | 2024 State KY , North Hardin – While he’s not going to contribute as much as Ayden Evans Ayden Evans 6'9" | C Elizabethtown | 2024 State KY at North Hardin, Alex is a big body who is still getting more coordinated. Evans already has good size and is likely to grow a few more inches as he develops. Once his skill set catches up with his size, watch out.
Jayden Miles, Western – A bit of a hidden gem in Louisville, Miles should be a starter this season for a young and dangerous Western team. At 6’7, Miles is still raw skill wise but he can offer rim protection and rebounding this season. Jayden has a high ceiling as a prospect thanks to length and athleticism. Once his coordination catches up to his growth spurts, watch out.
Ian Reesor Ian Reesor 6'6" | PF Sayre | 2024 State KY , Lexington Catholic – The Knights have a very talented freshman class coming in but I was told Reesor could be the best of the bunch. At 6’4 and with a big frame, Ian can run the floor and dunks everything with ease. Beyond that, he can also shoot the ball a little. Don’t expect him to have a huge freshman season but long term, Reesor can be an impact player in the 11th region.
