Outside Game
Jaden is on pace to score more than 20 points a game this season and the way his game and confidence has taken off there is no reason he couldn’t really put up some huge numbers. While Jaden can handle the ball what makes him a threat bringing the ball up the court is that he can walk into a long range three-pointer. He really pulls defenders out of the paint which opens it up for his teammates to get to the basket. While Jaden can bring the ball up the floor and shoot he is a great pick and pop player that once again opens up lanes and pulls bigs out. Jaden being on the floor really helps guard play as well. As a spot up kick out option he shoot at a high clip s well.
Mid-Range
When we move into the mid-range and 15-foot shots Jaden is at his comfort zone. Jaden loves getting to the elbows and he can hit those fadeaway jumpers that might be difficult for most as he makes them look easy. This is the same when he is in the short corner as well. He is a tough player to play against in a zone because he can be a threat all over the floor. Jaden has different release points on his jumper as he can really adjust to what the defense is doing.
Point Blank
Moving him now on the blocks, he knows when to face-up and when he will back someone down. He does make his move quickly which makes him so effective. When he is that close to the basket he is almost impossible to stop because he is so long and can shoot over almost anyone that’s not looking at him eye to eye.
Next Level
It was always a question on if Jaden was a D1 player or not. Jaden proved to be that as he started to get a few offers rolling. Jaden has committed to the University of Illinois at Chicago. As a stretch 4 Jaden will be great and if he can start moving quicker laterally he could make a move to the 3 if the fit is right. With an outside in game Jaden will be fun to watch at the next level. This Summer/Spring/Fall Jaden proved that he can play at a high level as he matched up against some solid prospects that are very notable. Playing at a LM and with some players graduating jaden might get a shot upon arrival. Jaden might have found the right spot for him to succeed.
