I had the opportunity to watch New Haven Heat North on several occasions throughout the summer and Kazell was clearly one of the best, if not the best player in the gym. Physically he’s more advanced than most in his class but his will to win and competitive nature allows him to standout. The Prince Tech graduate currently holds offers from LIU Brooklyn and Bryant but additional offers are expected to follow throughout the season
Akili Evans Akili Evans 6'4" | PG Lee Academy | 2021 State NLG has great perimeter size, court vision, and scoring versatility. The 6’4″ point guard brings tenacity each possession and serves as a legitimate three-level threat. He’s deceivingly strong and converts through contact often, don’t let his thin frame fool you. The Holy Cross graduate has the potential to average a double-double this season, potentially leading the country in assist. Currently, he doesn’t hold any offers but this should change when Lee begins the season.
Tahmeen Dupree finished his career at New Britain High School as a 1000 point scorer. The sturdily built 2-way point guard may not be well known throughout the region but this will change once the season starts. Dupree has great physical tools combined with athleticism and scoring instincts. The 2020 Connecticut All-State selection doesn’t hold any offers but this is sure to change.
