Jack Pease | Highland Park
Playmaking will drive Pease’s fourth and final varsity season. The quick guard turns out pinpoint passes to anyone running the break. In the halfcourt, he’s no more than a step away from the paint, especially when given space to go downhill.
Worthey Wiles | Highland Park
Wiles brings physicality to both ends of the court. At 6-4, he covers wings and guards alike, gaining position with his strength. On offense, you’re getting a powerful driver from the elbow that finishes softly off the glass. The Scot’s offense puts this senior’s court vision and passing center stage any time he’s free throw line extended.
Payton Mills | Lebanon Trail
Payton Mills may be the early diamond in the tough candidate. The 6-4 guard has decent athleticism to go with his good decision making and court vision.
Manny Obaseki Manny Obaseki 6'3" | SG John Paul II | 2021 State #47 Nation TX | John Paul II | Texas A&M
Obaseki is a next level quick playmaker with a penchant for scoring. The big guard’s constant attack opens up passing lanes that he can zip passes through. He continues to flash shot creation in the mid-range.
Jaylon Tyson Jaylon Tyson 6'6" | SF John Paul II | 2021 State #66 Nation TX | John Paul II | Texas Tech
Tyson started the game as a distributor, then he turned on the shot making. In the team’s season opener 3 of 4 of his made three pointers came off the dribble. Great footwork fuels the four-star recruit’s playmaking and shot creation.
Shannon Lowery Shannon Lowery 6'5" | SF Frisco Memorial | 2021 State TX | Frisco Memorial
Fresh off an under the radar summer Lowery is back to physically imposing ways. The 6-5 athlete caught a body in transition and finishes through his fair share of bumps on his way to double-figure scoring.
