Gbolahan Adio Gbolahan Adio 6'3" | SG Richmond Heights | 2020 State OH
A player who wasn’t afraid to test his outside jump shot early on, Adio made his presence felt early on in the game. Being the team’s primary shot-creator, he was able to put up points in a hurry, using his athleticism and improved three-point jumper to his advantage. Disruptive on the defensive side of the ball, Adio used active hands and court vision to push the ball up the court, looking to make the extra pass for transition points. He had a team-high 20 points.
Shammah Scott Shammah Scott 6'2" | SG Shaker Heights | 2020 State OH
It was a bit of a slow start for Scott throughout the first half and his jump shot was tested often. In the second half, that’s when he started to settle in and take over. Scott was aggressive driving to the basket, drawing a slew of fouls as he was looking to score. One thing that stood out to me was his ability to create space off his dribbles, allowing him to get past his defenders. Since the last time I saw him play, his on-ball defense has vastly improved as most of the time was able to contain Hargrave’s best perimeter player throughout the second half.
Manny Hill Manny Hill 5'10" | PG Cleveland Heights | 2020 State OH
An active rebounder throughout the night, Hill started to find a groove late in the second half along with Scott. He was able to draw contact on a couple of his jump shots, including a three-pointer. Finishing layups at the rim was his specialty Friday night, including a handful of up-and-under moves that really created separation from his defender. Hill ran the floor well after a missed shot, resulting in transition points swiftly. Hill has a very low, quick handle that allowed him to slither through the defense within half court.
