Troy Cicero Troy Cicero 6'2" | PG Romeoville | 2023 State IL (Joliet Central – 2023)
Cicero was excellent for the Wolves 15U squad completely controlling the game from his lead guard spot. The slick ball handler made really nice decisions with the ball in his hands. Also got fouled on a drive and connected on three from beyond the arc.
Tyler Van Gorp Tyler Van Gorp 6'10" | C New Trier | 2023 State IL (New Trier – 2023)
Van Gorp is a 6’10” rail thin five man with upside. He showed a little bit of everything with a seal for a score, running floor hard, and blocking a shot.
Brayden Long Brayden Long 6'4" | SF Yorkville Christian | 2023 State IL (Yorkville Christian – 2023)
Long is a tough two guard that is a shot maker. He hit a pair of triples along with his go to crisp one dribble pull up from inside the arc.
Asa Thomas Asa Thomas 6'6" | SF Lake Forest | 2023 State #91 Nation IL (Lake Forest – 2023)
Thomas didn’t shoot it as well as he usually does, but the 6’6” shooting guard still impacted the game with how well he crashed the glass on both ends and was an excellent passer.
Cameron Christie Cameron Christie 6'4" | SG Rolling Meadows | 2023 State #76 Nation IL (Rolling Meadows – 2023)
Christie was very quiet early on in the game, but still managed to connect on a pair of key threes late in the game from the corner to give his team some breathing room in the second half.
Chris Martin (Mundelein – 2023)
The Mundelein 6’6” power forward is a physical force on the interior being able to finish through contact while having the mobility to put it on the deck from the mid-post. Also had a sweet right handed hook shot on the block.
Khalil Ross Khalil Ross 6'6" | SF Brother Rice | 2023 State IL (Lincoln Way East – 2023)
Ross is a long and rangy wing defender that shined on that end with blocked shots and deflections. Offensively he had a couple nice drive and kick dimes while taking it strong on the baseline for a score.
Xavier Sulaiman Xavier Sulaiman 6'3" | SG Oak Lawn | 2023 State IL (Marist – 2023)
The Marist combo guard had a solid showing especially early on in the scrimmage. Drilled a corner three, pushes it in transition, and takes steals coast to coast.
Jaheem Webber (Normal Community – 2024)
Webber has a chance to be one of the top big men in this class. Already standing at 6’8” he has great size and a strong frame. Terrific area rebounder that out rebounded players a year older than him. He is pretty light on his feet for his size. Scored on several layups including a reverse one and a give/go pass. Also had a finish with his off hand on a dump off pass. Works well in the pick and roll. Shot blocking presence on the defensive end.
Cole Certa (Bloomington Central Catholic – 2024)
Certa is a 6’1” point guard from Bloomington Central Catholic. The thin and lanky guard is a solid passer showing flair for dishing in the half court. Also was a knock down shooter draining a trio from deep along with a smooth turnaround jumper.
Jet Jones (Plainfield East – 2024)
Jones is listed at 5’9”, but as his name suggest he has speed to burn. Creative playmaker at the lead guard spot with his passing and ability to get out in the open floor.
Trendale Whitling (Marmion Academy – 2024)
Whitling is a combo guard at 6’0” that can play both on and off the ball. Slick playmaker with the rock and is a capable shooter.
Andre Blakley (Marmion Academy – 2024)
Blakley exploded in this scrimmage. The 5’9” guard was lights out shooting the ball off ball screens pulling up a handful of times from both mid-range and three.
