Wilson Murray 6’4 Licking: The 2021 wing had the most impressive performance of the week as he opened the season with a 51-point explosion in a victory over Houston. The young man is a bucket-getter who can also drop some exquisite dimes with his court vision. On this night, he really attacked the bucket well and finished while also getting to the free throw line quite often, making 17 of his 24 attempts. He also knocked down a pair of 3-pointers. He averaged 20 points a game as a junior.
Jalen Hampton Jalen Hampton 6'7" | PF Link Year | 2022 MO 6’6″ University City: The bouncy 2021 forward was dominant in taking home the Most Valuable Player honors after leading the Indians to the championship of the Borgia Turkey Tourney. He averaged more than 20 points a game in the tournament, including 26 points in the championship game against Fort Zumwalt North. His quickness, high motor and explosiveness around the basket was simply too much for the opposing teams throughout the week. He also threw down a number of crowd-pleasing dunks.

He scored a game-high 31 points in the championship game victory over Bunker. He showcased his three-level scoring ability with long range shooting and slick moves to the basket off the dribble and some impressive transition dunks during the week.
Ahlante Askew 6’1″ Republic: The talented 2023 point guard enjoyed a big breakout performance in the Tigers opening season victory over Helias in a battle of excellent Class 4 programs. Askew was tremendous at both ends of the court as he scored a game-high 26 points. He knocked down 3-pointers and scored on some smooth slashing drives to the bucket. He was just as impressive on the defensive end as he drew three offensive fouls and also picked a couple of pockets with his quick hands.
Preston Golden Preston Golden 6'4" | SG East Carter | 2022 State MO 6’5″ East Carter: The talented 2022 wing had a huge performance with 32 points and nine rebounds in a victory over Willow Springs at the Current River Classic in Van Buren. In the first half, he was impressive with some slashing moves to the basket. In the second half, he was all in his offensive bag as he showcased the 3-point stroke. He knocked down long distance jumpers off the catch and had a few nice step-backs and also came off screens. His size and athleticism to go along with his skill level makes him a very potent offensive player.
