If you scan the list of top 100 seniors in Minnesota, you will see that DeLaSalle’s Evan BoydEvanBoyd6'2" | SGDeLaSalle | 2021StateMN is one of the best available shooters in the class.  

DeLaSalle’s trio of Evan BoydEvanBoyd6'2" | SGDeLaSalle | 2021StateMN, Cade HaskinsCadeHaskins6'6" | SFDeLaSalle | 2021StateMN, and Keijuan WhiteKeijuanWhite6'0" | SGDeLaSalle | 2021StateMN have been a part of the DeLaSalle rotation for three seasons and they’ve earned one state title in that time (working on their second in three seasons this year).  With last year’s season cancelled a week before the state tournament, that makes the Islanders once again the defending champions of Class AAA.   And they are of course planning on defending their crown (or crowns considering they’ve won seven of the last eight). 

"One goal I have for the team is section champs and hopefully if we have the state tournament, then state champs too," Evan told Prep Hoops. 

Boyd is working hard to prepare for this season and one of his goals is to be a leader.  Boyd has everything needed to be a leader: he’s a high quality student, he’s a veteran of multiple years, and Evan has been in a few roles during his career.
