Class of 2022 Rankings: New Names
In this article:
The class of 2022 rankings will be updated in the state of Wisconsin next week. Here’s a look at the new names who will crack the list for the first time…
Dan Gherezgher Dan Gherezgher 6'1" | SG Brookfield East | 2022 State WI – Shooting Guard – Brookfield East
Don’t always love ranking prospects after fall league action. It’s easy to be fooled, but it’s hard not to take Gherzegher seriously after some of the things he’s shown. Although he wasn’t a varsity player last season for the Spartans, Gherzegher has turned a ton of heads and opened a lot of eyes. The 6-foot-2 junior can create his own shot, possesses some terrific open-floor athleticism, and defends the heck out of people. His stats may not go through the room while playing alongside Hayden Doyle Hayden Doyle 6'0" | CG Brookfield East | 2021 State WI and Tayshawn Bridges Tayshawn Bridges 6'2" | CG Milwaukee Academy of Science | 2024 #86 Nation GA , but the Greater Metro Conference, which is loaded with talent, will take notice this season.
Sleeper Alert!

Jordan Glenn Jordan Glenn 5'11" | PG Wisconsin Lutheran | 2022 State WI – Point Guard – Wisconsin Lutheran
Averaged 10.5 points per game as a sophomore for a Wisconsin Lutheran squad loaded with underclassmen talent. Ended the 2019-20 season very strong, including a 27-point effort against conference champion Milwaukee Lutheran. Surprising athleticism for his size. The lefty is also a good-looking 3-point shooter, especially off the ball in transition.
Jack Jorgensen Jack Jorgensen 6'2" | SG Depere | 2022 State WI – Shooting Guard – De Pere
Might not be one of the headline players on his AAU or high school team, but the kid has played just way too well to ignore. When you can shoot the ball as well as Jorgensen can, combine that with solid positional size (6-2), he’s going to be a hot commodity for Division 3/NAIA programs. Jorgensen has been extremely consistent with his 3-point shooting. He’s refined what the phrase “on-fire” means at times, hitting five 3-pointers in a single half down in Dubuque in August.
Devyn Orr Devyn Orr 6'3" | SF Menomonee Falls | 2022 WI – Wing – Menomonee Falls
Orr is a guy that will fly under the radar given all the talent Falls has for the next two years. His intriguing length and positional versatility is hard to ignore, however. The 6-foot-3 junior can play point guard and anywhere on the perimeter. He’s got the physical tools to be an outstanding defender as well. Eager to see how Orr develops. He could be one of the biggest late bloomers in this class.
Nate Reiff Nate Reiff 6'7" | PF Southwestern | 2022 State WI – Power Forward – Southwestern
Skilled and versatile prospect. Reiff showed some good flashes at the Prep Hoops Top250 Expo. Reif is a long, 6-foot-7 forward who’s not even close to filled out physically. He can step away from the rim and shoot the basketball. Also has some advanced footwork and go-to moves on the block for such a raw player.
