With the Hoop Season officially beginning on Friday in Western PA there are some players from the Junior Class (2022) ready to make an immediate impact on the court. These boys earned playing time last year on the Varsity level and will definitely become "go-to" guys this season. After reaching out to local coaches, these names consistently are being discussed for breakout performances.

Ambridge High School

An extremely athletic player who has expanded his game from the post to the wing. D’Saun played some Varsity last season, but now becomes a starter looking to contribute vitally to his team. He is a skilled rebounder and shot-blocker, who plays above the rim on offense with monstrous dunks. Watching him fill the lane on the fast break leads to the anticipation of a strong finish at the basket. D’Saun has improved his range and gained confidence from the perimeter as well.
