Week 3 of the high school basketball season is in the books and it was another exciting and high scoring set of games across Central Texas with several ballers putting on a scoring clinic in their non-conference matchups. 

In our weekly CenTex Roundup series, we highlight some of the top scorers from the Austin-San Antonio Metroplex who impressed during that given week of the season. Today’s article features four sharpshooting guards from the Austin-Metroplex who lit up opponents from beyond-the-arc and one of the top players in Texas who showed out against an extremely tough and talented DFW squad. 


Here are the top five scorers from Week 3:

Even in the tough 77-67 loss to a top-ranked program in Duncanville, the Kansas signee still put up a dominant scoring performance with 34 points. Adams showed off his pure strength with several powerful drives past opponents with tough finishes at the basket through contact. Adams already has the body of a college-ready player and was unstoppable in the paint and around the basket.
