I could easily rave about the top shooters in the state, however, in this article, we take a look at 10 shooters that you may not know.
- Andrew Lehmann Andrew Lehmann 5'11" | SG South Tahoe | 2022 State NV 5’10 PG South Tahoe 2022 (#23PHN 2022) – Lehmann was one of the most consistent shooters in the state last season. He made a 3 in every game except one and had 12 games with 3 or more made 3’s.
- Milos Uzan Milos Uzan 6'4" | PG Dream City Christian | 2022 State #60 Nation AZ 6’3 PG Desert Pines 2022 (#1PHN 2022) – The highest-profile player on this list deserves to be here. He gets credit for almost every offensive skill except his shooting. Uzan shot over 40% from behind the arc last season.
- Joseph Summers Joseph Summers 5'11" | PG Carson City | 2021 State NV 5’11 PG Carson City 2021 (#45PHN 2021) – The PG from Carson City was one of the deadliest snipers in the state last year. Not only did he knock down 68 3’s last year, he had some big-time performances including making 7 3’s against Colfax.
- Cameron Reese Cameron Reese 6'5" | SF Moapa Valley | 2021 State NV 6’5 PF Moapa Valley 2021 (#86PHN 2021) – At 6’5 Reese is one of the tallest shooters on our list. He likes to shoot his both in catch and shoot situations, as well as coming off screens. He was one of the more efficient shooters last season, knocking down 43% of his 3’s with 58 makes.
- Justyn Delziet Justyn Delziet 5'11" | SG Green Valley | 2023 State NV 5’11 SG Green Valley 2023 (#54PHN 2023) – JDZ slings it on the football field, however, he can also shoot it in the gym. The QB has insane confidence and the ability to knock down 3’s from beyond NBA range.
- TJ McTyer TJ McTyer 5'9" | PG Mojave | 2023 State NV 5’9 PG Mojave 2023 (#18PHN 2023) – McTyer is on this list, simply because he isn’t that well known. The jitterbug PG shoots the ball with ease off the bounce and has good range on his shot.
- Dawson Dumas Dawson Dumas 6'1" | PG Elko | 2022 State NV 6’1 SG Elko 2022 (#49PHN 2022) – Dumas caught my attention during last year’s state tournament where he made 5 3’s in a semifinal contest against Del Sol.
- Zeus Inguanzo Zeus Inguanzo 6'2" | SG Calvary Chapel Christian | 2021 State NV 6’2 SG Calvary Chapel 2021 (#94PHN 2021) – Although he only made 23 3’s Inguanzo shot a high percentage. He also had some remarkable performances, including making 6 three’s against Founders Academy.
- Jordon Cosby Jordon Cosby 5'9" | CG Spring Valley | 2024 State NV 5’9 PG Spring Valley 2024 (#25PHN 2024) – Cosby is part of the wave of young shooters. He has a lighting fast release and the ability to change the scoreboard in a hurry with his 3 point marksmanship.
- Troy Dingman 5’7 PG Whittell 2022 – Got to give some love to Dingman. Although he averaged only 6 points per game last season for 1A Whittell, he managed to knock down 29 3’s while shooting it at a 37% clip.
