– 6’5 postgrad wing. Mitchell is a mismatch nightmare who can put the ball on the deck, in addition to being known as a knockdown shooter from the perimeter. Mitchell has a knack for creating his own shot and getting downhill to the rim. He has sneaky athleticism. He has added some muscle to his frame to help him make the transition to the prep school game from high school. Scholarship coaches should definitely be keeping tabs on Mitchell.
PJ James PJ James 5'10" | PG Bridgeport Prep (CT) | 2023 NLG – 5’9 2023 point guard. James is a true floor general who plays older than his age and has a great IQ and sense of the game. James is a nonchalant scorer who does a solid job of selling fakes to catch defenders sleeping. He sees plays into existence and does a solid job of managing the flow of the game. James who is very under the radar when he is playing off the ball can knockdown shots. He is also very fundamentality sound on the offensive end.
Mysonne Pollard- 6’2 2023 wing. Pollard who is a jack of all trades has a motor that never stops. He has great size with a nice frame at such a young age and is still growing into it. Pollard who is already an insane athlete can be a real problem for opposing teams with his ability to be a 2-way player. He is at his best in the open floor going downhill. Pollard can also make a highlight play in a glimpse of a second.
Quentar Taylor- 6’2 postgrad point guard. Taylor is a big southpaw guard who moves very swiftly on his feet. He can make a play in a matter of seconds with his ability to see his teammates on the floor and put the ball through tight gaps. Taylor plays a bully ball guard style is and has no fear using his big frame to body opponents to get a quick bucket. Taylor is the vocal leader of this Bridgeport team. Don’t let his size fool you he can maneuver through a crowded lane to get to the rim with ease is the open floor.
Other notable players to keep an eye on.
Cape Holden- 5’8 postgrad guard. Holden is a light’s out shooter who makes his mark felt from the perimeter. Holden also finishes in a wide variety of ways around the rim. He also moves well without the ball in the flow of the game offensively.
John Hypolite – 6’6 ’21 post. Hypolite is a rim running post who has a nose for the hoop around the block. He is very solid in the half-court setting as a screen and roller. He adds a stout presence to the front court with his size and college ready body. Hypolite is a tenacious rebounder on both ends of the floor. He is comfortable playing around the rim on the offensive end. An underrated passer who does a good job of knowing where his teammates are on the floor.
Jesse Roberson- 6’4 2021 wing. Roberson is a do it all wing who can play around the rim. He has a nice mid-range jumper near and around the short porch of the floor. Roberson is at his best on the defensive end. He has tendency to be a magnet for grabbing rebounds and blocking shots and finding a way to get steals. He also can score it in bunches quietly from many areas of the floor.
Jakari Tertulien- 6’3 ’23 wing. Tertulien is a wiry wing who is at his best when he is attacking the rim whether it’s in the open floor or in the congested lane. He does a solid job of applying pressure on the defensive end. Tertulien also shows great bursts of athleticism.
