With the public school season around the corner, gear up for a look at some breakout candidates to keep an eye on. Here’s a look at Part I of the Breakout Candidates in the 2022 class.

Ramsey had a productive summer with Carolina Riptide and is due to make waves this season at South Caldwell in the frontcourt.

Smith is a relentless presence on the glass and in the paint with nice length and ability. Keep an eye on him to produce at West Mecklenburg.

Siler is a relentless scoring guard that should grow in the Ragsdale backcourt. He put up 9.0ppg, 2.7 rpg, 2.6 apg and 1.4 spg as a sophomore.

Moore is set to play a bigger role in the backcourt with the departure of Rashod SmithRashodSmith6'0" | PGWashington | 2020StateNC. He posted 5.5 ppg, 3.1 rpg, 1.8 apg and 1.0 spg in 2019-20.
