Tim Jordan Tim Jordan 6'7" | PF Saginaw Arthur Hill | 2023 TX (PF, Saginaw Arthur Hill)
Prep Hoops Michigan Ranking: #7
Jordan is probably the post with the highest ceiling in the state. The athletic 4 is a constant threat for put back buckets. He’s bouncy under the rim, gets the ball high, and puts in back up quick. Jordan has a ton of upside and could develop into a bona fide force.
Raymond Adams Raymond Adams 6'8" | PF Ypsi Prep | 2022 NC (PF, Ypsi Prep)
Prep Hoops Michigan Ranking: #8
Adams is new to the state, suiting up for newly formed powerhouse, Arbor Prep. He’s a terrific athlete that could be just chipping away at his stocked potential. Adams is a versatile forward that can play facing the rim and will stay active on the glass.
Xavier Thomas Xavier Thomas 6'6" | PF Brother Rice | 2023 State MI (PF, Brother Rice)
Prep Hoops Michigan Ranking: #13
Thomas is a very impressive player and part of a loaded 2023 class at Brother Rice. He’s reads the ball off the rim and attacks it, instead of waiting for it to come to him. Thomas can play in transition as well as in a half court set. He makes a terrific forward tandem with nationally renowned teammate Cutis Williams.
Luke Hazelton Luke Hazelton 6'7" | PF Glen Lake | 2023 State MI (PF, Glen Lake)
Prep Hoops Michigan Ranking: #21
Hazelton is much more talented and has a much higher upside than a number 21 ranking gives justice to. He’s a powerful forward that won’t get outmuscled in the paint. However, he’s skilled enough with the ball that he can play outside-in and has range on his jumper.
John McCrear (PF, Ypsi Prep)
Prep Hoops Michigan Ranking: #42
McCrear really came on strong at the end of last high school season with Ypsilanti Lincoln. Now suited up with Ypsi Prep, he’ll be grinding against D1 talent on a daily basis in practice. I’d expect him to continue to rise up the rankings as his game develops this season and beyond.
