South Jersey basketball is on the rise after Camden’s dominant 29-1 season last year. The High is not the only team with talented players as St. Augustine, Camden Catholic and Paul VI all have seniors who will play D1 basketball next season. The point guard play in South Jersey is very good, especially in the 2021 class. Here are the top 2021 lead guards in South Jersey.

Cantey will be thrust into a new role after transferring to Eastern in the offseason, but he is still a talented guard ready for a new opportunity. The Lindenwold transfer is a bucket getter as he can score at all three levels. Cantey has a good handle and knows how to finish through contact around the basket. He is an underrated passer and knows how to move his feet on the defensive end. Cantey is a scoring machine who should have a big senior year for Eastern.
