#31 – Cameron Andre-Covington Cameron Andre-Covington 6'9" | PF Columbia Christian | 2021 State OR (2021 Columbia Christian)
We kind of lost track of Andre-Covington when he left Oregon after his freshman campaign at Benson. But he returned to Columbia Christian this past season and then hooked on with International Elite for a couple of events. At 6-foot-9, long and athletic, he immediately attracts attention when he walks into the gym. While his production hasn’t quite matched the potential, it’s the latter that has Division I coaches calling to inquire and with that, he’s the highest ranked newcomer on the rankings.
#50 – Spencer Lanier Spencer Lanier 6'5" | SF Newberg | 2021 State OR (2021 Newberg)
Lanier had a good junior season at Newberg, averaging 9.6 points and 6.0 rebounds while shooting almost 61 percent from the field, ranking among the state’s best in 6A in field goal percentage. That was good enough for All-Pacific League honors and while the 6-foot-5 forward excelled in the post for the Tigers, he got a chance to show his versatility with International Elite. Lanier did a lot of the little things like make hustle plays this summer and he’s a solid small college prospect.
#68 – Jasper Phipps Jasper Phipps 6'1" | CG South Salem | 2021 State OR (2021 South Salem)
South Salem was dominated by seniors but Phipps found a nice role as instant offense off of the bench. The 6-foot-1 combo guard is a lights out catch-and-shoot bomber – he shot just under 44 percent from three – but this summer he worked on creating off the dribble and getting others involved in the offense. He’s the top returing scorer for the Saxons and will be counted upon heavily in 2020-21.
#69 – Henry Grassman Henry Grassman 6'8" | PF Franklin | 2021 State OR (2021 Franklin)
Possessing height at 6-foot-9 along with good hands and feet, Grassman has been coming along with his emergence as a big man. He seemed to operate fairly well in the pick-and-roll as a junior playing alongside Tucker Pellicci Tucker Pellicci 6'11" | C Franklin | 2020 State OR and according to former Franklin head coach Scott Aker, is along the same development path as the current Hawaii Pacific big man.
#75 – Bennet Bos (2021 Salem Academy)
A no-nonsense, competitive high-motor wing is the type of player that succeeds at any classification, but for Bos it’s allowed him to emerge as a star at Salem Academy. He can score both inside and out, and his aforementioned competitiveness is what will make him a great glue guy at the college level.
#80 – Izzy Baker Izzy Baker 6'4" | PF Clackamas | 2021 State OR (2021 Clackamas)
Ben Gregg Ben Gregg 6'8" | SF Clackamas | 2021 #50 Nation OR of course was the star at Clackamas but he had a solid surrounding cast around him including Baker. The lefty is an undersized post at 6-foot-4, but he knows his role and doesn’t make mistakes. Baker can step out and hit open shots out to three-point range and plays hard on the defensive end.
#82 – Austin Keel Austin Keel 6'3" | SG Clackamas | 2021 State OR (2021 Clackamas)
Keel didn’t play much last season with the Cavs but made an impression in the action we saw him with Elite 24 this fall. The 6-foot-4 wing is an aggressive offensive player who can hit shots in bunches and attack the rim with his athleticism.
#83 – Keallum Coburn (2021 Century)
Coburn had a role in Century’s run to the playoffs and that was to knock down long-range shots off of the bench. The lefty was a specialist and hit threes at a 40 percent clip, often from well beyond the three-point arc. Coburn should have a bigger and more diversified role his senior season.
#84 – Tanner Brewster Tanner Brewster 6'5" | SF Sandy | 2021 State OR (2021 Sandy)
With Pierce Roeder Pierce Roeder 6'0" | CG Sandy | 2020 State OR getting most of the headlines, Brewster quietly put together a good junior campaign. The 6-foot-5 wing/forward can score both inside and out and is tough on the glass for his size. Also the quarterback on the football team, he’s a solid all-around athlete.
#85 – Andrew Vaughan Andrew Vaughan 6'3" | CG Portland Adventist | 2021 State OR (2021 West Albany)
Paired alongside TJ Zimmerman TJ Zimmerman 6'4" | PF West Albany | 2021 State OR , Henderson helps West Albany have a big one-two punch along the frontline. At 6-foot-5 he has good size and uses creative post moves and a soft touch around the hoop tos core inside. He plays hard on the defensive end and uses his body effectively on the boards.
