#8 – Damontae Burns Damontae Burns 6'1" | CG Parkrose | 2021 State OR (2021 Parkrose)
Burns had an elevated role as a junior and he delivered as he became Parkrose’s top scorer and assist man. The 6-foot-1 combo guard will have even more responsibilities in 2020-21 and he should be primed for success. Burns is very quick and athletic, finishes very well in transition, and can really get hot with his perimeter shooting.
#9 – Luke Smith Luke Smith 6'3" | CG Willamette | 2021 State OR (2021 Willamette)
Smith really stepped up as a big-time scorer in 2019-20. The now 6-foot-3 senior can score at all three levels, using his smooth jumper to knock down long and mid-range shots while also utilizing his strong body to finish plays at the hoop. Smith is in line to be the top scorer in the state at the 5A level and already holds some NAIA scholarship offers.
#15 – Josh Baugher Josh Baugher 6'6" | CG Santiam Christian | 2021 State OR (2021 Santiam Christian)
Baugher unfortunately had his junior season cut short due to injury. But by all accounts, he’s all rehabbed and healed up for his senior campaign. At 6-foot-7, he’s got tremendous size and length to play in the backcourt and has the ball-handling and passing skills to play lead guard. Despite the injury he’s currently receiving attention from D-II and NAIA schools.
#21 – Kell Estep Kell Estep 6'4" | CG Sunset | 2021 State OR (2021 Sunset)
Estep emerged as an offensive threat as a junior but will really get a chance to shine as a senior. The 6-foot-3 combo guard really excels by creating off of the dribble but has the ability to bomb away from deep. Estep turned some heads with his play this summer with International Elite at a couple of events and decided to make an early decision by signing with Multnomah where his game should fit right in.
#26 – James Lang James Lang 6'0" | CG Jesuit | 2021 State OR (2021 Jesuit)
There was a void in the backcourt with graduation losses from Jesuit’s 2019 title team but Lang was more than up to the task to step in and contribute. The 6-foot guard does a little bit of everything on the offensive end from spotting up for threes to creating a bit off the bounce for himself and others. Lang should be set to have another similar type year as a senior.
