The PIL (Portland Interscholastic League) has been often dominated by Jefferson and Grant the past few years and many of the biggest names from the conferece come from the Demos and Generals rosters. But there are a number of other quality players at the other schools in the league, many of whom are potential collegiate prospects.

Here’s a look at a number of these players who have largely operated under the radar but are worth a closer look this season.

Leo SewellLeoSewell5'9" | CGWilson | 2022StateOR (2022 Wilson) - Small (5-foot-9) but shifty point guard led 6A in assists last season at 5.91 apg. Has been relied a lot upon offensively but is a true floor leader and knows how to find the open man out on the perimeter.

Eli MesulamEliMesulam5'10" | PGCleveland | 2021StateOR (2021 Cleveland) - Hard-nosed 5-foot-10 point guard led 6A in three-point field goal percentage last year at a sizzling 53.3 percent. Knocks down open shots but can also create off the dribble. Tough man-to-man defender and plays with passion.
