Isaiah CarrIsaiahCarr6'10" | PFLas Cruces | 2022StateNM is a guy who plays with high energy. It’s not very often that you find a player of his caliber at almost 7 feet tall and has a 4.6 grade point average. When people ask about New Mexico high school prospects Isaiah CarrIsaiahCarr6'10" | PFLas Cruces | 2022StateNM is the first name out of the mouth of scouts from all around the nation. Carr is long, lean and has a great upside. If you are attacking the rim you definitely feel his presence when he crowds you. Carr’s soft hands allow him to be a serious problem at mid range. He can shoot the occasional three but his true strength is mid range and above the rim. Isaiah CarrIsaiahCarr6'10" | PFLas Cruces | 2022StateNM is a serious rim protector. I watched him block shot after shot from inside and out. You could easily see why Isaiah CarrIsaiahCarr6'10" | PFLas Cruces | 2022StateNM is New
After evaluating last years High School season and very short Grassroots season I have compiled a list of the top 4 juniors I’ll be watching closely.

Sean JohnsonSeanJohnson6'6" | SFSandia | 2022StateNM - 6’8 - Sandia
If you enjoy watching players who attack the rim and dunk on everyone in sight than Sean JohnsonSeanJohnson6'6" | SFSandia | 2022StateNM is your guy. A highly skilled super athletic wing who makes you pay at the rim every time. I watched Sean in multiple events events including the Prep Hoops Circuit. I could tell you he was never disappointing to watch. He has very quick hands and manages to get a lot of high number steals that always end up in a dunk on the opposite end. He has great mid range ability and is a very good high intensity slasher. You occasionally see him shoot 3’s but its a rarity to say the least. Another great D1 prospect. The future is bright for Sean JohnsonSeanJohnson6'6" | SFSandia | 2022StateNM.
Jalen GoarJalenGoar5'11" | PGHobbs | 2022StateNM - 5’11 - Hobbs
An explosive point guard that many are calling baby Steph. He has a large variety of ball handling skills in his arsenal making him a solid ball handler. A strong point guard who has the knack to find players anywhere on the court. By watching him play you would think he has eyes in the back of his head. Jalen GoarJalenGoar5'11" | PGHobbs | 2022StateNM can flat out shoot from anywhere on the court. A high percentage three point shooter who can also get you on runners.
Deuce BenjaminDeuceBenjamin6'1" | PGLas Cruces | 2022StateNM - 6’3 - Las Cruces
Deuce BenjaminDeuceBenjamin6'1" | PGLas Cruces | 2022StateNM is a very unorthodox player. Another terrific point guard who finds his teammates in clutch situations. I have seen major improvement in Benjamin from last year. I watched him on the Prep Hoops Circuit last summer where he didn’t make the exact right decisions. This year watching his high school season you could see his maturity level and immense improvement. Benjamin has blossomed into one of the top prospects in the class. Benjamin is a defensive nightmare with his quick hands and feet. He is a solid 3-point shooter who can also attack the basket off the dribble very easily and is super bouncy. He is a big matchup problem for anybody having to guard him because of his versatile skill set.
