| Nicholas Moye | Guard | Crowley High school | 2021 |
Nicholas Moye showed initiative from beginning to end, he looked like he came to seize the opportunity and make the most out of it. Moye was the first player in line every single time for every single drill. Nicholas also made an effort to finish first during conditioning drills, he pushed himself hard and looked as if he had been keeping his mind and body game ready throughout this past summer. Not only was Nicholas Moye a leader on the floor, but he was also the most exciting, one most talented, and one most skilled players in the entire combine. His hunger really showed, this young man played like he wanted to be the best player on the gym.
| Jaxson Kapellusch | Power Forward/Center | Euless Trinity | 2021 |
Jaxson is a 6’7 stretch big with a raw skill set that can make him incredibly effective and also a valuable piece with the more work he puts in. Kapellusch stood out during pick-and-roll drills, displaying solid pick-and-roll skills and instincts, showing a good understanding of the game and his capabilities. Jaxson Kapellusch made shots in every way possible, he played above the rim, popped out to shoot the three, and finished down low on the block with up and under moves, pump fakes, and drop steps. Jaxson has an abundance of potential, he had all of the coaches there raving about how special he could be.
| Javen Hutton Javen Hutton 6'1" | CG Arlington | 2021 State TX | Point Guard | Arlington High School | 2021 |
I’ve had the opportunity to watch Javen Hutton Javen Hutton 6'1" | CG Arlington | 2021 State TX play on several occasions, and never once have I seen him not give his all, and at this combine, there was no change in his step. Javen went hard on each and every drill like it was an actual game, showing very quick choppy feet during ladder drills and excelling on his mid-range jump shot during the elbow shooting portion of the exam, just as I’ve seen him do in games numerous times. The mid-range pull-up jump shot is Hutton’s bread and butter and he barley missed any of those shots at the combine. Javen Hutton Javen Hutton 6'1" | CG Arlington | 2021 State TX showed and proved to everyone in attendance that he is one of the top players in Tarrant County.
| Devean Fennell | Guard | Keller Fossil Ridge | 2021 |
Fennell was by far the most intriguing prospect in attendance. He’s not very tall, probably no taller than 5’9, but he has incredibly remarkable athleticism that just couldn’t go unnoticed. He’s strong, speedy, and can get above the rim and slam it down with ease. Devean showed the ability to stop, start, and cut on a dime, displaying the capability to use his quickness to his advantage. Fennell went through each drill with phenomenal effort and high energy. His effort led to him consistently being first to finish and also led him to beat everybody in his group at the running drills by a wide margin. Devean even knocked down the majority of mid-range jump shots during the shooting drills. Devean Fennell will be someone to look out for during his senior season at Fossil Ridge High School this year.
| Jkwon Toppin | Point Guard | Eastern Hills High School | 2023 |
An awesome competitor, Jkwon was very impressive at the sprinting and running drills, he continuously outran and out hustled his competition with his super-quick lateral and half-court speeds. Probably the fastest kid in the gym and definitely the fastest and quickest of his class. Jkwon Toppin showed some promise out there and with the right kind of commitment and focus, he should really start to make some noise going forward.
