The combine consisted of height, weight, and wingspan measurements, intense drills, competitive games, and an All-Star game at the very end.
| Jalen Guinn | Shooting Guard | Arlington Martin |
Jalen Guinn was one of the most reliable shooters in the building, he knew his role and he played it exceptionally well. Guinn showed the ability to play off the ball, space the floor, and quickly find openings beyond the arc. His footwork caught my attention, Jalen was excellent at getting his feet set quickly, catching the ball, and getting the shot up all in one fluid motion. Jalen Guinn’s lights out play earned himself a spot in the all-star game at the end of the day.
| Kyron Powell | Point Guard | Haltom High School |
Kyron Powell was at his best during competitive games where he was able to show off his dime dropping skills and his ability to penetrate the lane. Powell excelled when it came to setting teammates up with scoring opportunities, he gets into the lane and looks to kick every time, an extremely unselfish player, if you cut when Kyron drives, he’ll find you and feed you. A very smooth and under control point guard that understands pacing, he also plays with great maturity, has good poise, patience and knows exactly how to let things develop. Kyron Powell’s high-level performance earned him a spot in the All-Star game to end the day.
| Nicholas Moye | Combo Guard | Crowley High School |
Elite offensive guard that can excel as a point guard as well as a two-guard. Nicholas Moye is a shifty dribbler with some explosive ball-handling moves, and great control of the rock, he can make any move with the ball effectively. His length is what really makes him tough to defend, he’ll get around his man with his first step and finish by stretching higher than his defender, easily getting a clean shot off. He’s a vocal communicator on the court, he’s very aware and his antennas are always up. Nicholas did everything with high confidence, poise, and anticipation, Moye made multiple plays on both ends of the floor that made him look a step or two ahead of everyone else.
