Max Love (St. Charles North)
Liked what Love brought to the table. Wing with decent size and a lanky frame. He split the defense on multiple occasions for layups. Slick euro step moves and finished above the rim. Stretches the floor with his three point shot. Length plays well defensively including blocking a shot on a recovery.
Jeremiah Betts-Moses (Woodstock)
Betts-Moses is a two guard that has strength and length on the perimeter. He has a chance to be a lockdown defender. Excellent rebounder especially on the offensive end. Scored a couple times at the rim and showed flashes as a shooter although it was streaky.
Trey Keizer Trey Keizer 6'2" | SG Timothy Christian | 2022 State IL (Timothy Christian)
Keizer is a two guard that knock down shots which he did toward the end of the games. Early on though it was his transition scoring that made an impact.
Gabe Madej Gabe Madej 6'5" | SF Fenwick | 2022 State IL (Fenwick)
Madej was one of the top prospects in the event. Strong bodied combo forward that ran the floor hard for buckets in transition. Finished well around the hoop on spin moves and a couple strong straight line drives. One of his biggest strengths is his ability to shoot off the catch. Drilled a trio of threes.
Daniel Hong (Barrington)
Hong was one of the breakout players of the evening. The Barrington point guard is a creative playmaker that makes sound decisions with the ball. Always seemed to be around the action making a play. Solid shooter from three and pulling up from mid-range. Mixed in a few crafty layups as well.
Braeden Goebbert (Lockport)
Goebbert is a skilled face up four man with a thin frame. Hit a mid-range jumper along with a spot up three displaying solid mechanics on his shot. Got on the offensive glass for a pair of put backs and had a nice baseline drive. Rebounds pretty well in his area and should get better once he adds strength.
Garrett Bolte Garrett Bolte 6'6" | PF Hinsdale South | 2022 State IL (Hinsdale South)
Bolte continues to see his stock rise. The Hinsdale South post is a mobile power forward that is a very good rebounder. He has the ability to take it off the defensive glass and push it on his own as was seen on one coast to coast drive. Displayed athleticism around the hoop on several difficult finishes and blocked a few shots. High release on a nice looking jump shot.
Danny New Danny New 6'1" | PG Aurora Christian | 2022 IL (Aurora Christian)
New is a skilled combo guard who had a nice night shooting the basketball. Started off early with a mid-range pull up and then a runner. As the night went on his three point shot started heating up.
Jack Cardwell (Glenbard West)
Cardwell took a little while to get settled in, but the gritty point guard got it going with several threes and then it was his playmaking the stood out. Did an excellent job of dishing the rock and pushing off steals. Overall this guard just plays extremely hard!
Drew Meyers Drew Meyers 6'1" | SG Aurora Christian | 2022 State IL (Aurora Christian)
Meyers is a sharp shooting two guard that did just that on Sunday night. Meyers connected on an array of triples with a crisp and concise release. Also mixed in several drives in transition and put it on the deck for scores or fouls.
Brady Heckman Brady Heckman 6'1" | PG Benet Academy | 2022 State IL (Benet)
Heckman was another sharp shooter at the Stealth Runs. This Benet combo guard can really hit shots off the catch with a sound shooting stroke. Also showed some feel in the passing game with his drive and kick dimes.
Devon Oregon (Oswego East)
Oregon put his name on the map Sunday night. The thin and wiry point guard can really shoot it from beyond the arc. Plus shooter especially off the catch. Angular guard uses length defensively.
Malachi Haythorne (Tinley Park)
Haythorne is a quick and shifty lead guard that did a little bit of everything. Slick ball handler that slithers through the defense. Shifty in traffic breaking down the defense where he finished well around the hoop on acrobatic layups. Pushed it in transition for several buckets splitting the defense. Like what he showed as a passer as well with dump off passes and several bullet passes.
Billy Bach Billy Bach 6'5" | PF Lyons Township | 2022 State IL (Lyons)
Bach is a skilled wing that showed a versatile game once again. Catch and shoot threat from three. Can also handle it and sees the floor as a passer.
Owen McManaman (Lyons)
The Lyons combo guard was most effective on Sunday night getting to the paint for contested layups including a sweet reverse one. Connected from mid-range once and had a put back.
