Camden and Manasquan combined to go 60-2 last season as they powered their ways to dominant state title runs. The Group returns a ton of big-time talent with the ability to make an impact at the next level. Here are the top returning All-Group 2 selections from last season.
Dajuan Wagner Jr Dajuan Wagner Jr 6'4" | PG Camden | 2023 State #1 Nation NJ ., 6’3 PG Camden 2023; First Team All-Group 2
Wagner Jr. was the driving force for Camden’s offense all season and should be tough to stop over the next three years. The 6’3 guard plays with composure and has a mature feel to the game. Wagner Jr. is a threat to score at all three levels as he has a sweet shooting stroke, a strong mid-range game and an ability to finish through contact. He has a good handle and knows how to move his feet on the perimeter. Wagner Jr. is just scratching the surface of his potential and will be a resident of multiple First Team All-State teams once his career wraps up.
Ben Roy Ben Roy 6'2" | PG Manasquan | 2022 State #218 Nation NJ , 6’0 PG Manasquan 2022; First Team All-Group 2
Roy was the catalyst for a Manasquan team that was dominant throughout the season. The Shore Conference Player of the Year is tough to contain off the bounce and knows how to finish shots through contact. Roy is more than just a driver as he can knock down jumpers from behind the arc and is a skilled passer. He plays feisty on-ball defense and is unafraid of the big stage. Roy is a talented lead guard who should continue to have big performances for Manasquan this season.
Dominick Barlow Dominick Barlow 6'7" | SF Dumont | 2022 NLG , 6’7 SF Dumont 2021; Second Team All-Group 2
Barlow had a breakout season for the Jersey Force Elite team which should translate into a big senior campaign. The athletic 6’7 forward is at his best in transition where he can attack the basket and finish above the rim. Barlow can make tough shots through contact and is working on his offensive range. He rips down rebounds on both ends of the floor and uses his athleticism to block shots around the rim. Barlow is a skilled forward prospect who is ready to lead Dumont deep in the state tournament.
Ta’Quan Woodley Ta’Quan Woodley 6'7" | PF Camden | 2021 State #221 Nation NJ , 6’6 PF Camden 2021; Second Team All-Group 2
The second Camden Panther on the list, Woodley is the ultimate glue guy that will do anything to help the team win. The Penn State commit is tough to move off the block and is one of the top rebounders in the class. Woodley is a great post defender and uses timing to swat shots. He plays with good footwork down low and has a nice touch around the basket. Woodley is a tough power forward prospect who should help lead Camden to its second straight sectional title.
Toriano Munford Toriano Munford 6'5" | SF Lincoln | 2021 State NJ , 6’5 SF Lincoln 2021; Third Team All-Group 2
Munford had a strong junior campaign and will be the go-to guy for the Lions again in 2020-21. The 6’5 forward is unafraid of mixing it up down low and can finish shots through contact. Munford has a nice release on his free throws and has the ability to knock down perimeter jumpers. He is a strong rebounder and is a solid defender. Munford’s ability to affect the game in multiple ways makes Lincoln a team to watch in Hudson County this season.
