Milan Momcilovic Milan Momcilovic 6'8" | SF Pewaukee | 2023 State #44 Nation WI — 6-foot-7 — Pewaukee
Meet the number one prospect in Wisconsin’s 2023 class. As a freshman at Pewaukee, Momcilovic showed flashes of his greatness. The forward’s athleticism paired with a unique skill set could make him unstoppable at the high school level. Momcilovic has an improving jumper and is already a monster in the paint. I expect high major Division One colleges to contact the Pewaukee SF in the very near future.
Landon Key Landon Key 6'4" | SF Wisconsin Lutheran | 2023 State WI — 6-foot-3 — Wisconsin Lutheran
Key could be a prospect that is able to push his way into the top ten of the 2023 rankings. He is a very good scorer who can get buckets from all three levels with ease. The film also shows that he is an underrated passer and defender. I have not seen Key play in person yet but he is definitely a prospect that I look forward to watching this season.
Will Starks Will Starks 6'4" | SF Kenosha Tremper | 2023 State WI — 6-foot-3 — Kenosha Tremper
I am not sure that any 2023 prospect raised their stock in the summer more than Stark did. Playing for World Hoops Elite on the Prep Hoops Circuit, Stark separated himself from his competitors. He did a really good job of getting to the rim and converting on difficult layups. He also was pretty much unstoppable as a rebounder. Expect big things from Stark in his sophomore season.
Amillion Buggs Amillion Buggs 6'4" | SF Wausau West | 2022 State WI — 6-foot-2 — Wausau West
I came into the summer having no idea who Buggs was. I left knowing that he is one of the state’s best small forwards. Standing at 6-foot-2, he is a bit undersized for a small forward. But, what he lacks in size he makes up for in tremendous effort and raw athleticism. In the painted area, Buggs is able to take over. He is a really good rebounder who does a great job blocking shooting on defense and getting layups on offense.
Seth Miron Seth Miron 6'4" | SF Kimberly | 2023 State WI — 6-foot-4 — Kimberly
Kimberly has had some tremendous prospects come through its program in recent years. And they are fortunate enough to have another special player in Miron. The small forward has good positional size and plenty of athleticism. Miron has a deep bag of tricks on offense. He is a lethal outside shooter who can also put the ball on the deck and get past his defender. I am not sure what the near future holds for Miron, but I do know that at some point he will be leading the Kimberly varsity squad to victories.
Dino Cook Dino Cook 6'4" | SF Kingdom Prep | 2023 State WI — 6-foot-4 — Kingdom Prep
As a prospect, Cook might be a little rough around the edges. But, don’t let this distract you from the tremendous amount of potential that the Kingdom Prep small forward has. He is a knockdown three-point shooter who also leaves his fingerprints all over the game on defense. If Cook continues to get better, then I think his potential is unlimited in Wisconsin’s 2023 class. He has all of the tools to become a great player.
