Prentice Young Prentice Young 6'4" | CG Wisconsin Lutheran | 2023 State #273 Nation WI — PG — Wisconsin Lutheran
I think that Young is going to be one of the next superstars to come out of Wisconsin. He checks all of the boxes. The point guard is a really good isolation scorer who does a great job of getting to his spots and getting buckets. As a freshman at Wisconsin Lutheran, Young scored 11 points per game. Look for the point guard to start garnering some interest from top college programs as he continues to improve.
Braylen Blue Braylen Blue 6'3" | PG Madison Memorial | 2023 State WI — PG — Madison Memorial
Expect Blue to become a difference-maker for Madison Memorial this upcoming season. The 6-foot-3 point guard is a really good passer who has a great feel for the game. He played JV at Sun Prairie last season, but this year he will have a chance to display his talents on a bigger stage. Look out for Blue to raise his stock in the 2020-21 season.
Jamisen Young Jamisen Young 6'0" | PG Sunrise Christian Academy | 2023 KS — PG — Kenosha Bradford
Young was a breakout star on the Prep Hoops Circuit this past summer for World Hoops Elite . The point guard is almost impossible for defenders to stay in front of because he is so fast. Once he blows by his defender, Young is crafty and creative enough to finish around bigger, longer shot blockers at the rim. While his offensive game is super impressive, his ability to defend is what will catch the eyes of college coaches. Young has super quick hands, which he can use to tally a bunch of steals.
Demerius Shakur Demerius Shakur 6'2" | CG Martin Luther | 2023 State WI — PG — Martin Luther
At times, I thought that Shakur was the best prospect on a loaded Wisconsin Playground Club 15U squad. He just did so much for that team on both offense and defense. On offense, he was the main ball handler and distributor. He took on a ton of responsibility with the rock in his hands. On defense, he took the assignment of locking up the opposing squad’s point guard. Shakur is definitely a prospect that I will be watching in the 2020-21 high school season.
Cal Klesmit Cal Klesmit 6'2" | CG Neenah | 2023 State #235 Nation WI — PG — Neenah
I think that Neenah has another star on its hands in Klesmit. At this point in his career, he is probably more of a combo guard but I think that he ends up developing into a point guard at some point. I love the swagger and confidence that Klesmit plays with on offense. He is not afraid to pull up and shoot from anywhere as soon as he crosses half court. I think that he is also criminally underrated as a passer and shot creator for others.
