Jeffery Brazziel Jeffery Brazziel 6'4" | SF Martin Luther | 2022 #159 Nation AZ — 6-foot-4 — Martin Luther
Even though he didn’t play in the 2019-20 high school season, Brazziel still holds the number one spot in Wisconsin’s 2022 class after an impressive summer. Playing for Wisconsin Playground Club, the small forward out of Milwaukee Destiny showed great improvements in his game. I knew that Brazziel was very dangerous as a slasher, but he also displayed a better outside shot and was more engaged on the defensive end. Maryland, Auburn, Marquette, and Georgetown have all recently offered roster spots to Brazziel.
Steven Clay Steven Clay 6'5" | SG Menomonee Falls | 2022 State #193 Nation WI — 6-foot-5 — Menomonee Falls
When talking about elite prospects in the Greater Metro Conference, I don’t think that Clay’s name gets brought up enough. Patrick Baldwin, David Joplin David Joplin 6'8" | SF Brookfield | 2021 State #54 Nation WI , Leon Bond Leon Bond 6'5" | SF Wauwatosa East | 2022 State #62 Nation WI , and Seth Trimble Seth Trimble 6'3" | PG Menomonee Falls | 2022 State #50 Nation WI are all thought to be the cream of the crop in the GMC. But, Clay is good enough to compete with any of these prospects on any given night. As a sophomore, the small forward dropped 21.3 points per game. Clay is a terrific three-level scorer who can do a lot of damage when he gets the ball in his hands.
Learic Davis Learic Davis 6'7" | SF Milwaukee Bradley Tech | 2022 State WI — 6-foot-7 — Milwaukee Bradley Tech
I wasn’t sure how good Davis was until the small forward pulled in three Division One scholarship offers in less than a month. The Milwaukee Bradley Tech standout has guard-like skills in the body of a forward. I have not gotten the opportunity to see Davis play in person yet, but his highlight film shows some extremely impressive skills. In the 2020-21 season, look for Davis to show improvements and new aspects of his game.
Najashi Tolefree Najashi Tolefree 6'6" | SF West Allis Central | 2022 State WI — 6-foot-5 — West Allis Central
Tolefree is one of my favorite prospects to watch. I love the effort and intensity that the SF plays with every time he hits the court. The West Allis Central product is a really good defender who can also do a lot of good things on the offensive side of the court. On defense, he does a great job of using his size to not allow offensive players get easy buckets. On offense, he is an aggressive prospect who looks to get to the rim every time he gets his hands on the ball. Expect a big junior season from Tolefree this winter.
C.J. Campbell C.J. Campbell 6'7" | SF New Richmond | 2022 State WI — 6-foot-5 — New Richmond
Cambell is a prospect that is primed for a big-time junior season at New Richmond. Playing for the Wisconsin Playmakers in the summer AAU season, the small forward showed that he is a top prospect in the 2022 class. Campbell’s three-level scoring is his main asset, but he is also able to create open shots for teammates. College coaches in search of a 2022 SF need to give Campbell a look.
Owen Pawlikowski Owen Pawlikowski 6'3" | SG Kimberly | 2022 State WI — 6-foot-3 — Kimberly
Pawlikowski was one of the biggest stock risers in Wisconsin over the summer. At 6-foot-3, the small forward is a versatile prospect who has really impressed scouts with his play on both ends of the court. On defense, Pawlikowski has good hands, which he uses to create turnovers and transition opportunities. I think that the SF could be a really nice piece for Kimberly in the upcoming season.
