Jack Rose Jack Rose 6'5" | SG Westosha Central | 2022 State #213 Nation WI — 6-foot-4 — Westosha Central
Rose is one of the most difficult players to guard in Wisconsin. The SG out of Westosha Central has good positional size and terrific skills. He has a tight dribble and an almost unstoppable pull-up jumper. Rose is also able to connect on open threes and finish plays at the rim. On defense, he is no fun to match up with. He is a really gritty player who always gives 100 percent effort. His upside may not be as high as some other 2022 prospects, but there are not many players that I would pick to be on my team over Rose.
Jackson Paveletzke Jackson Paveletzke 6'1" | CG Kimberly | 2022 State WI — 6-foot — Kimberly
The Fox Valley Association has had some terrific guards over the past couple of seasons. And after losing some great players to graduation last year, I expect Paveletzke to step up and become the future of the conference. He is a smooth scoring guard that is able to get buckets at all three levels. Paveletzke is able to do a really nice job of scoring in isolation without taking the rhythm away from his team’s offensive attack. The 6-foot SG should be a top prospect in the state for the next two years.
Andrew Rohde Andrew Rohde 6'6" | SG Brookfield Central | 2022 State WI — 6-foot-2 — Brookfield Central
Rhode is the perfect fit for the juggernaut that is Brookfield Central. In the 2019-20 season, Rohde averaged 8.5 points per game on one of the best teams in the state while also making 45 percent of his attempts from deep. He probably will never be the number one option on a team in the near future, but the shooting guard would be a really nice addition to any squad. In the 2020-21 campaign, Rohde will be the perfect complement to Ben Nau Ben Nau 6'1" | PG Brookfield Central | 2021 State WI and David Joplin David Joplin 6'8" | SF Brookfield | 2021 State #54 Nation WI .
Andrew Alia Andrew Alia 6'2" | SG Kenosha St. Joseph | 2022 State WI — 6-foot-2 — Kenosha St. Joseph
Because he plays for a smaller school, Alia does not get a ton of coverage during the winter season. But thankfully, we get to see him play with Wisconsin Playground Club during the spring/summer. As a scorer, Alia is very impressive. He has a good frame, which allows him to get off shots over smaller defenders with little trouble. When attacking the rim, Alia is also dangerous. When the shooting guard gets to the rim, he can leap through contact for a layup.
Luke Haertle Luke Haertle 6'2" | SG Lake Country Lutheran | 2022 State WI — 6-foot-3 — Lake County Lutheran
When watching Haertle play, his effort is what standouts the most. The Lake County Lutheran plays his heart out every single time he laces up his sneakers. In terms of skills, the SG is a great two-way player. He is capable of scoring very well at all three levels on offense while also making life difficult for opposing players on the other side of the court. Wherever he ends up, I think that Haertle will end up becoming a great college player.
Marshawn Robinson Marshawn Robinson 6'3" | SG Waukesha South | 2022 State WI — 6-foot-2 — Waukesha South
Robinson is an underrated player that probably does not get enough praise in the 2022 class. He still has a long way to go as an offensive player, but on the opposite end, Robinson is as good as it gets. He can use his length and athleticism to guard multiple different positions effectively. If Robinson is able to develop his scoring game a bit more, he could become a very attractive prospect to college programs.
