Seth Trimble Seth Trimble 6'3" | PG Menomonee Falls | 2022 State #50 Nation WI — 6-foot-2 — Menomonee Falls
Right now, Trimble is the best point guard prospect in Wisconsin’s 2022 class, and I don’t think that any other prospect will challenge him for that spot. His explosive athleticism is almost unbelievable. Trimble can use this athleticism to slash to the rim and then find creative ways to finish the play. There is no doubt that the Menomonee Falls point guard will end up playing for a great college program in the future.
Armani Jones Armani Jones 5'8" | PG Brown Deer | 2022 State WI — 5-foot-8 — Brown Deer
The 5-foot-8 stature may turn some scouts off, but as soon as you watch Jones play, the concern about his size goes away. The point guard is a really good shooter who also can pass the ball and drive to the rim. In terms of pure talent, Jones is as good as it gets at the high school level. I expect him to once again put up big numbers at Brown Deer.
Jack Campion Jack Campion 5'10" | PG Milton | 2022 State WI — 5-foot-10 — Milton
Because he plays for Wisconsin Playground Club on the Prep Hoops Circuit, Campion is a prospect that I have been able to see a lot. I don’t think that Campion is as gifted as some of the other prospects on this list, but I still really enjoy watching the PG play. He is incredibly fast and very difficult to guard. Campion could also be one of the state’s best passers, regardless of class or position.
Casey Verhagen Casey Verhagen 6'0" | PG Sheboygan Area Lutheran | 2022 State WI — 6-foot-1 — Sheboygan Lutheran
During his time at Sheboygan Lutheran, Verhagen has proven to be one of the most productive prospects in Wisconsin. He passes, he rebounds, he scores, he even tallies a few steals per game, too. I think that Verhagen will be able to find his way on to top college program’s roster just due to his versatility
Micah Causey Micah Causey 5'9" | PG St. Thomas More | 2022 WI — 5-foot-9 — St. Thomas More
Causey’s 5-foot-9 frame is the only thing that could possibly keep him from playing college basketball at the highest level. And I am not sure that even that can stop him. He is a really speedy guard who is relentless when attacking the rim. I have a feeling that Causey will put up huge numbers as a junior at St. Thomas More. College coaches need to keep an eye on this PG.
Terryon Brumby Terryon Brumby 6'0" | PG Racine Case | 2022 State WI — 6-foot — Racine Case
Playing on a Wisconsin Playground Club 16U squad that featured a lot of top guards, Brumby didn’t always get to show what he is capable of. But, in his sophomore season at Racine Case, the point guard averaged just over 14 points per game and proved that he is the cream of the crop. As a scorer, Brumby is a shifty ball handler who defenders have a very hard time staying in front of.
