Raising their stock as a prospect is a major goal for many of the athletes in attendance. There were many that did just that on Sunday at the Prep Hoops Top 250. We will look at some stock risers that I saw at the event.

Charles Deutsch (2023, 6-3, G, Rockford)
I didn’t see Deutsch play as much as I’d have liked at the David Barnes Showcase, but I did at the Top 250. I like the way he fires up his jumper and moves the ball around the perimeter.
Shawn Foreman Shawn Foreman 5'11" | PG Comstock Park | 2023 State MI (2023, 5-11, G, Comstock Park)
Foreman is a north-south player that stays on skates. I like his ball handling and feel for the game.
Brandon McCaskill (2022, 6-3, G, Cranbrrok Kingswood)
McCaskill is quick on both ends. He has some shimmy to his game that allows him to get to the lane and make plays on the offensive end.
Jalen Mosley (2024, 5-10, G, South Lake)
Mosley is under rated as an athlete. After watching him play this weekend, I really believe that he has a nice upside as a prospect.
Jalen Overway (2022, 6-9, F, Holland Christian)
It was nice to see Overway bang against some very high quality post players. He did more than hold his own. Overway sent a message that he’s a next level post prospect.
Phil Ragan Iii Phil Ragan Iii 6'2" | CG University Of Detroit Jesuit And Academy | 2022 State MI (2022, 6-2, G, UD Jesuit)
I’ve always been a fan of Ragan’s game, so I made a point to watch him on Sunday. He’s a steady guard with all the makings of a quality point that can transfer his skills to the next level.
Michael Morris Michael Morris 6'4" | SG West Catholic | 2022 State MI (2022, 6-0, G, Benton Harbor)
Singleton is under rated and, mark my words, will have a very impressive junior season. He’s a quick footed defender than can play in your face defense.
Matthew Stone (2022, 5-10, G, Rochester)
I haven’t seen much of Stone, so I’m really glad he made it to the Top 250. He’s a steady young guard that will be a difference maker in his junior season.
Nic Stump Nic Stump 6'5" | PF Grand Haven | 2022 State MI (2022, 6-5, F, Grand Haven)
Stump is making believers out of everyone that watches him play. He’s going to make some college coach VERY happy, trust me.
Andre Turner Andre Turner 6'1" | CG Livonia Stevenson | 2021 State MI (2021, G, Sterling Heights Stevenson)
Turner was one of the most improved players from last years Top 250 to this years. I saw his speed with the ball last year, but this year, he knew exactly what to do with it. Turner simply had a great day at the showcase.
Bryan Tyler Bryan Tyler 5'9" | PG Westland John Glenn | 2021 State MI (2021, 5-10, G, Westland John Glenn)
Tyler is a college point guard, and whatever team takes the chance on an under 6-0 lead guard will reap the rewards. He was one of the top passers at the Top 250 for the second year in a row.
