The class of 2024 rankings were released last week. With over 35 players making the list, it’s our most exclusive rankings yet. Like many young classes, the guards lead the way. In this article a follow up to our Top Guards Part 1 PH takes a look at the top guards in the c/o 2024 

Xaviel Rodriguez Xaviel Rodriguez 6'6" | SG Desert Valley Prep | 2024 State NV 6’5 SG Coronado (#19) - Rodriguez has the physical tools to be a terrific prospect. A tall impressive looking shooter, the Puerto Rico import is a shoot first two guard with the size to defend 2’s and 3’s. As he continues to adjust to the speed of high level play, expect his offensive skill set to open some eyes. 

Kaden Castillero Kaden Castillero 6'0" | PG Liberty | 2024 State NV 5’10 PG Liberty (#22) - Castillero may be opposite of Rodriguez when it comes to stature. Diminutive, however the young PG plays with confidence and a great feel for the game. You can’t leave him open and his skill set is advanced enough for him to make plays for his teammates.
