Chucky Hepburn Chucky Hepburn 6'1" | PG Bellevue West | 2021 State #77 Nation NE , 6’1 Bellevue West (2021) – The Wisconsin commit did not disappoint in a game matched up versus one of the top players in Iowa. Hepburn put on a show in the head to head battle. Whether it was off the bounce or pass, Hepburn created scoring opportunities for everyone on the team. The explosion and ability to get downhill quickly off the dribble to finish above the rim was also very hard to contain.
Kuon Kuon Kuon Kuon 6'8" | SF Mount Michael | 2022 State NE , 6’6 Elkhorn Mount Michael (2022) – Kuon’s length was showcased on the offensive and defensive ends of the floor the entire game. The ability to disrupt passes, rebound out of his position, and cover ground from on ball to becoming the second rotation on help defense was impressive. Offensively, had great touch around the rim and stretched the defense with the set three.
Derek Merwick Derek Merwick 5'10" | PG Elkhorn South | 2021 State NE , 5’11 Elkhorn South (2021) – Derek was the prototypical point guard, leading the break, and making the right pass to create the bucket. His first step was hard to contain which allowed easy buckets for himself or the easy dish. Derek did a great job using his body with the change of speed dribble to create offensively.
William Kyle William Kyle 6'8" | C Bellevue West | 2022 State NE , 6’7 Bellevue West (2022) – William showed off his athletism this Saturday with a flurry of finishes above the rim including a baseline drive for a wraparound dunk on the weakside. Rim runs hard and stretches the defense with his length. The ability to rebound out of his area and cover ground should be exciting to watch Kyle this upcoming winter season with Bellevue West.
Josh Dix, 6’4 Council Bluffs Abraham Lincoln (2022) – Josh showcased his touch from beyond the arc, knocking down three’s and also has a smooth jump shot. His strong frame allowed him to absorb contact to finish at the rim.
Greg Brown Greg Brown 6'5" | SF Bellevue West | 2021 State NE , 6’3 Bellevue West (2021) – DMACC commit is a very strong guard that disrupted passing lanes, quick on-ball defense, and the ability to finish above the rim in transition multiple times on Saturday. Greg stretches the half court offense with the ability to hit the open shot or slash the seam to create for himself or a teammate.
