Tobias Roland Jr Tobias Roland Jr 6'3" | SG Putnam City North | 2021 State OK | SG | 2021 Putnam City North
Tobias Roland Jr Tobias Roland Jr 6'3" | SG Putnam City North | 2021 State OK did it all for his team on both sides of the ball. He used his quickness to blow by defenders, but also shot pull-up jumpers effectively which kept the defense guessing. He was constantly applying pressure on the defensive end, got steals, and forced turnovers on help defense. He consistently communicated and encouraged teammates. Tobias Roland Jr Tobias Roland Jr 6'3" | SG Putnam City North | 2021 State OK has a non-stop motor and always gave 110% effort which had a noticeable impact in every game this weekend.
Sebastian Perry Sebastian Perry 6'1" | PG Heritage Hall | 2023 State OK | PG | 2023 Heritage Hall
Perry did some of everything. He was a knockdown three-point shooter off the dribble and pulling up from deep even with a hand in his face. Sebastian Perry Sebastian Perry 6'1" | PG Heritage Hall | 2023 State OK is an all-around threat as a point guard who is a skilled ball-handler, pull-up shooter, and can drive to the rim. He has a high basketball IQ with the court vision to see the right passes and the ability to successfully execute them to find the open man. His defense was also note-worthy and led to stops.
Zander Baker | PG | 2023 Homeschool
Zander Baker got buckets this weekend. He shot exceptionally consistently from well behind the three-point line off the dribble and catch-and-shoot. He has a quick trigger for good reason and hit threes in impressive streaks. Despite being about 5’7″, his ball handling and effective crossover allowed him to get good looks against taller defenders. Baker has the ball on a string and rarely gets out of control. He also made the right passes in transition to find teammates for open looks.
George McCurdy George McCurdy 6'2" | PG Broken Arrow | 2021 State OK | PG | 2021 Broken Arrow
McCurdy played tight defense, always having a hand in the shooter’s face and was tough to get by. Offensively, he slashed and drove through the lane with good ball protection to get to the rim. He knocked down some shots when given space. The guard worked hard on offense and defense and played a large role for his team.
Bryce Journee Bryce Journee 6'4" | SF Owasso | 2021 State OK | PF | 2021 Owasso
Bryce Journee Bryce Journee 6'4" | SF Owasso | 2021 State OK shot efficiently, especially off the dribble from the mid-range. He is an intelligent player all-around. He spaced the floor well to be able to help out on defense and stop the ball. He unselfishly distributed the ball well, especially for his position. Journee showcased his athleticism by throwing down some emphatic dunks. He doesn’t rush things, lets the game come to him, and finishes well around the rim.
