It’s never too early for too-early-season. With fall sports and school underway, it’s only a matter of time before the winter sports season is upon us. 

With that in mind, here’s a look at some of the top guards in Region 6

Warren Walker, Rugby

Walker emerged a rock-solid rotation player last year for Rugby, averaging nine points and nearly four assists per game, helping the Panthers win the Region 6 championship a year ago. Walker is a true floor general who did a great job running the show, distributing to an array of talented scorers last year and knocking down open shots. He’ll have more on his plate as a senior, both as a scorer and as a playmaker.
