It’s never too early for too-early-season. With fall sports and school underway, it’s only a matter of time before the winter sports season is upon us. 

With that in mind, here’s a look at some of the teams that should be improved in 2020-21:

Northern Cass

The Jaguars were competitive in Region 1 last year, winning 14 games. They’ve got the talent to make noise in what should be a loaded region this winter though, as they’ve got one of the best guards in the state in Jase CrockettJaseCrockett5'10" | PGNorthern Cass | 2021StateND. He’s not alone though, as Kolby Vander WalKolbyVander Wal6'1" | SGNorthern Cass | 2021StateND is one of the best two-way wings in the region. And there’s young talent that should continue rising with guys like Leighton Strommen and Jonathan Rietschel. 


The Lions were middling in Region 3 last year, winning 13 games and reaching the region tournament.
