Noah Rogers Noah Rogers 6'4" | PF Rolesville | 2023 State NC – Team Disciples – 6’4 Forward
Rogers made an appearance with Team Disciples on the 16U stage but it didn’t slow him down much as he showed off his ability to attack the rim and rebound on both ends. He’s got nice strength and length already that he uses well to battle in the paint and make his presence felt. He’s a prospect at Rolesville worth tracking early.
Chase Dawson Chase Dawson 5'10" | PG Cary Academy | 2023 State NC – Carolina Explosion – 6’1 Guard
Dawson was a standout prospect despite playing on the 16U stage and showed off his ability to fill it up on all three levels with 13 points and the MVP Award in the 17U Yellow Division for Carolina Explosion. He’s an electric guard that likes to operate off the dribble and get to the rim whenever he can. He’s one to track at Cary Academy.
Beckham Tharpe Beckham Tharpe 6'8" | C North Iredell | 2023 State NC – Carolina Riptide – 6’8 Forward
Tharpe is a new face in more ways than one given it’s our first time getting a good look at him. He’s a burden on the boards and in the post with his ability to operate inside and establish position as a rim-runner. He finished the weekend with 12.3 ppg and five made free throws, showing off his ability to make an impact in the frontcourt.
Cole Callaway Cole Callaway 6'4" | SG Lake Norman | 2023 State NC – Carolina Riptide – 6’4 Shooting Guard
Callaway is an emerging shooting guard on the wing that can fill it up. He’s a prospect you don’t want to leave open on the perimeter or he’ll make you pay and even then, when he’s got a rhythm, he’ll make you pay. He made six 3-pointers on the weekend for the Riptide while showing he can make plays and do other things on the floor when he’s not shooting the basketball. He’s one to watch at Pine Lake Prep.
Daquan Pate Daquan Pate 5'11" | CG New Bern | 2023 State NC – Eastern Carolina Phenomz – 5’11 Guard
Pate is an emerging guard that’s slowly developing into something special with the Eastern Carolina Phenomz alongside William Brimmer William Brimmer 6'2" | CG New Bern | 2023 State NC . He posted a noteworthy 22 points in their final game of the weekend, showing off his all-around floor game with three made 3-pointers and solid finishes around the rim.
