Brandon Ihle Brandon Ihle 6'3" | SF Middle Creek | 2024 State NC – 6’2 Guard/Forward – Big Shots Select NC (Middle Creek)
Ihle has got an advanced feel for the game that allows him to make reads without the ball and cut for open scores with relative ease. When he’s not cutting off the ball, he’s creating off the bounce or spotting up on the perimeter. He’ll be a name to know for a while in the 2024 class.
Andrew Neal Andrew Neal 5'9" | PG Apex | 2024 State NC – 5’3 Point Guard – Big Shots Select NC (Apex)
Neal is a crafty guard with nice range on his 3-point shot. He had a solid weekend shooting the basketball, especially from 3-point range this past weekend. He’s a sharpshooter from deep that hit six 3-pointers in their victory over Lowcountry Elite in bracket play and finished with 20 points in that game. He made eight 3-pointers on the weekend
Jacob Lawton Jacob Lawton 5'8" | PG Millbrook | 2024 State NC – 5’6 Guard – Cap City Clutch (Millbrook)
Lawton took home MVP honors in the 14U Division after posting 10 points, two 3-pointers, in their 41-40 victory over Big Shots Select NC. He came up clutch in key moments for his squad when they needed him to and it showed in the end with a Gold Championship. He’ll be a guard to track at Millbrook High School.
Shamel Baker Shamel Baker 6'0" | PG East Carteret | 2024 State NC – 6’0 Guard – Eastern Carolina Phenomz (East Carteret)
Baker will be a guard to know for the next few years given his ability to make plays with the ball in his hands. He closed out the weekend with a 23-point performance with 10 of his 11 field goals coming inside the 3-point arc. He’s relentless at getting downhill and finishing through traffic in the paint.
Charles Matheka Charles Matheka 5'11" | SG East Carteret | 2024 State NC – 5’8 Guard – Eastern Carolina Phenomz (Beaufort)
Matheka was dialed in from the 3-poitn arc from the Eastern Carolina Phenomz this past weekend. He knocked down a total of eight 3-pointers at Big Shots Myrtle Beach Fall HoopFest, including five in a 17-point performance against Cap City Clutch in a close loss. He’ll be a sharpshooter to watch in 2024.
