These are the 4 Michigan high school basketball players that attended and some breakdown/highlights of their performance:
Jude Drake (2022, 6-4, SG, Jalen Rose Academy)
Drake sent a message back home to Michigan – that he’s under rated as an athlete and as a player. He excels in transition and is a versatile scorer. Drake could be in for a monstrous season.
Jason Drake Jason Drake 6'2" | CG Ferndale | 2022 State MI (2022, 6-1, PG, Orchard Lake St. Mary’s)
Drake is one of the most talented perimeter players in the state of Michigan. He can simply do things athletically on the basketball court that most people can’t. Drake’s performance was highlighted by a 20 point and 3 rebound performance in the 3rd game.
Will Smythe Will Smythe 6'4" | SG Orchard Lake St. Mary's | 2021 State MI (2021, SG, Orchard Lake St. Mary’s)
Smythe was one of the most overall impressive players at the event. He was steady with the ball, not letting it stick in 1 spot, but moving it quickly. Smythe was efficient with his jumper in all spots, hitting at a very high percentage. His day was highlighted by a 16 point and 2 rebound output in the 2nd game. Smythe was also named to the class of 2021’s All Camp Team.
Devin Womack Devin Womack 6'2" | CG Ann Arbor Huron | 2021 State MI (2021, 6-3, PG, Ann Arbor Huron)
Womack continues to impress and looks like he will once again be a force on a veteran Ann Arbor Huron squad. It’s easy to see his leadership abilities every time he’s on the floor, and that was apparent this weekend. Womack was silky smooth with the ball in his hands.
