I will be evaluating every player that was from the Metro Detroit area through myself watching games and also looking at games a second time on BallerTV. Everyone showed up big time and the sky is the limit for you.
Brandon McCaskill (2022, 6-3, Cranbrook Kingswood)
Brandon McCaskill is a player that college coaches should pay close attention to. At the Expo he showed in his play that he has been working hard to improve. He scored in a variety of ways. He has a good looking jump shot and creative ability to get to the rim. He is an athlete.
Jemari Mack (2021, 6-3, L’anse Creuse)
Mack is a good shooter from both mid-range and the 3 point line. He is a good dribbler and he looks to find the open man. He runs the floor well and he has quick hands. He is also good at attacking the rim. I look for him to have an outstanding ear at L’anse Creuse
Kameron Mayes (2022, 6-4, Detroit Catholic Central)
Mayes is a strong and athletic player. He runs the floor pretty good. He battles for rebounds. Defensively he was able to keep his man in front of him and close on the shot. Offensively he was looking to pass to the open man. With more sustained effort he can be a very good player. He has to want it.
Terrance Broughton Terrance Broughton 6'0" | PG Cass Tech | 2022 State MI (2022, 5-10, Romulus High School)
Broughton is a super quick guard with very good handles who can get to the basketball whenever he wants to. He has a very nice spin move on the baseline, a very nice crossover that frees him for his dribble drive and finish or dish. This young man has a tremendous upside.
Desmond Denham (2022, 5-11, Madison Heights)
Denham ran point guard and did very well. He was good at pushing the ball, slowing it down and running some offense. He protected the ball well. He will slash to the basket and battle for offensive rebounds. He has a nice looking jump shot. He has a bright future.
Christian Jordan (2021, 6-0, Bloomfield Hills)
Jordan is a strong hard working player who gives it all on the floor. He is not going to be outworked. He is almost impossible to stop on his dribble drives. He is a physical player that doesn’t shy away from contact. Defensively he will get after his man. Jordan is college ready.
