Caden Hawkins (Cartverville – 2023)
Hawkins keeps seeing his stock rise this fall. The 5’10” sophomore is a scorer from the point guard position. Gets to the rim with creativity and is a sound shooter from all over the floor. Cut well without the ball for a couple scores. As a distributor he threw several good entry passes and was effective in the drive/kick.
Kade Lustenberger Kade Lustenberger 6'5" | SF Carterville | 2023 State IL (Carterville – 2023)
Really like the projection here down the road. At 6’4” he has a couple more inches to grow which will give him legit height for being a face up four. Mobile forward that can take his man a couple dribbles especially on the baseline. Really good mid-range shooter that can stretch it out to three. Runs floor with ease and is active on the offensive glass.
Garrett Wolfe (Effingham – 2023)
Garrett is the youngest of the Wolfe brothers. He plays similar to his older brother Parker except he is a right handed player. Crisp pull up jump shooter from both mid-range and three. The 5’11” lead guard will have a strong sophomore season.
Darien Singleton (Mascoutah – 2023)
Singleton broke out at the Pangos Camp a couple weeks back. Athletic 5’11” guard with a crisp jump shot that he hit with consistency.
Evan Noelle (Marion – 2023)
The 6’2” Marion wing made several nice moves off the bounce for scores including a reverse layup and another baseline take.
Carter Schoenherr Carter Schoenherr 6'2" | SG Nashville | 2023 IL (Nashville – 2023)
Like the upside with this 6’3” 2023 prospect. Good baseline driver that made assertive moves taking it to the defense for scores.
Cade Altadonna Cade Altadonna 6'0" | PG Highland | 2023 State IL (Highland – 2023)
Altadonna is one of the better combo guards in the metro east in 2023. The Highland guard stands at 5’11” and the lefty knows how to get to the rim for nifty finishes and runners. Creative passer with a feel for passing with flair.
Grant Fridley Grant Fridley 6'1" | PG Wesclin | 2023 State IL (Trenton Wesclin – 2023)
This 6’1” point guard is a young guard that understands the game. Took it coast to coast on several occasions for scores at the cup. Also knocked down a handful of threes with a clean looking stroke. The skilled guard can really pass too with a clear understanding of the game.
Cole Peppenhorst Cole Peppenhorst 6'4" | PF Breese Mater Dei | 2023 State IL (Breese Mater Dei – 2023)
Peppenhorst wasn’t as consistent as we have seen in the past, but he still had his moments. The 6’4” forward is so fluid running the floor in transition for scores. Can grab a defensive rebound and push it on his own!
Garett Harrell (Marissa – 2023)
Intriguing 6’4” power forward that was excellent doing the dirty work inside. Crashed the offensive glass, blocked shots, and was a good positional post defender.
Seth Karnes (Waltonville – 2024)
Karnes is a tiny guard that can shoot it off the catch with a clean stroke and has some craftiness on layups.
Jonathan Harrison (Herrin – 2024)
We came away extremely intrigued with this 6’6” power forward. The 2024 four man has a long and thin frame. Very active around the hoop getting on the offensive glass for second chance opportunities. Plays with a high motor on the interior especially high pointing them in traffic. Plus rim protector swatting several shots with good timing. Offensively he did most of his damage on the offensive boards, but did have one nice slash from the wing. One to track closely!
DaMicheal Jackson (CBC, MO – 2024)
This 5’8” point guard from St. Louis powerhouse CBC made the trip over. He is a thin and rangy guard with some projectability to continue to grow. Was at his best getting in the lane for layups and runners.
Jaeden Rush (O’Fallon – 2024)
The 5’8” freshman from O’Fallon put his name on our radar with a solid performance. The lead guard has a slender build with slick handles both off the bounce and in transition.
Drew Barrington (Carterville – 2025)
Barrington was the youngest player at the camp. The 5’9” point guard does a nice job of pushing it in the open floor throwing crisp passes to his veteran teammates. Hit a pull up mid-range shot and had a sweet spinning layup.
More Notes
Cobden 2023 Tyler Franklin had a big Sunday averaging 10.6 points per game during the event. One to watch moving forward!
