The Rubin twins from Homewood Flossmoor each emerged with a strong showing for Chicago Lockdown on the Prep Hoops Circuit. Long and lanky big men that are two way players protecting the rim, running the floor, rebounding, and have emerging skill.

The 6’6” four man has a strong frame combined with mobility on the interior. Finishes with power through his defenders and also has the ability to go around them with quick post moves. Volume rebounder that gets on the glass on both ends.

The 6’10” five man is thin, but he didn’t get pushed around in the second Illinois Wolves scrimmage we evaluated. Rebounded very well in traffic using his length to high point them. Couple of put backs, hit a baseline jumper, ran the floor for a bucket and toward the end drilled a pick/pop three.

Springfield is a physical power forward that mauled on the offensive glass in several early events for the Hoopstars. Also like his versatility as an inside/outside offensive threat.
