Michael Lundy Michael Lundy 6'1" | CG Philomath | 2021 OR (2021 Philomath) – This 6’1 combo guard helped lead a loaded Philomath roster to a 2nd place state ranking at the 4A level. Lundy is a big energy guy. The passion is apparent while he is in people’s space, playing touch defense, crowding them to make an offensive mistake. While on offense, he helps to push the ball up the floor and knock down the timely three. He will look to build on his first-team all-league selection from a year ago and help lead the Warriors to a top ranking in the 2020-21 season.
Ty May Ty May 6'6" | PF Philomath | 2023 State OR (2023 Philomath) – Another bright spot from last season for the Warriors was this big freshman. Standing at 6’6, Ty May Ty May 6'6" | PF Philomath | 2023 State OR will look to help his counterpart Lundy to take their second league title next year. Early on, May showed that he can be a defensive anchor by blocking shots and taking charges. On offense, he showed a steady, smooth, technique in the low post, flashing a couple of moves and being able to step out and hit a 3 pointer. While he is young, it is easy to see why this well-rounded player was able to earn a second-team selection during his first year on the varsity squad.
Hunter Coulter (2021 Sweet Home) – Earning a 1st team conference selection for the Huskies this past year was Hunter Coulter. Coulter has a reliable lefty stroke from 3 point land and a strong presence that players cannot escape on the defensive end. With his ability to anticipate opponents and create steals he will look to continue his development this year while continuing to compete atop the best players in the Oregon West Conference.
Aiden Tyler (2021 Sweet Home) – Coulters running mate Aiden Tyler can easily be identified with his neon green shoes while being the headstrong leader of the Huskies offense. Tyler has a great ability to find an open window on the perimeter and knock down the open three. He has no problem forcing steals on defense and initiating the Huskies fast break. After being an Honorable Mention selection last season he and Coulter are on the hunt for a league title as Huskies.
Mason McAlpine (2021 Toledo) – McAlpine is a standout representative of the 2A league here on the edge of Mid-Willamette Valley. Mason McAlpine is on track to continue the Boomers’ reign of dominance as he is filling in the loss of big-time player Conner Merchant. After earning a 1st team all-league selection, McAlpine showed a consistent stroke from the arc. McAlpine has the ability to lead the team on fast breaks with great passing vision. He looks primed and ready to set the Toledo Boomers apart from their league opponents.
