Deandre Lockett 6’6″ Medical and Bio Science: A strong 2021 post player with a strong body and the know-how to put it to use around the basket as a scorer and rebounder. He caught the ball well in traffic and finished with authority. He was a good rebounder who could get out of his area to collect boards. He was also a good and willing screener. Very unselfish.
Marlon Donald 5’10″ St. Louis Christian Academy: A talented 2021 point guard with good quickness and explosive athletic ability. He was quick and low on the dribble which enabled him to get into the lane to finish or drop dimes to open teammates. he could hit 3-pointers off the dribble and he also rose up and had some impressive blocked shots for his size.
J.R. Ruble 5’8″ Farmington: An impressive 2022 point guard who really knew how to run the pick and roll very effectively. He hit the roll man with some nice dimes and he converted several mid range jumpers off the dribble. He has excellent handles and decision making ability.
Landon Engelege 6’3″ Holt: A very active 2022 wing who was very productive because his motor was constantly running throughout the evening. He was running in transition and he scored on some impressive baseline drives. He could also shoot the 3-pointer as well.
DeKatyn Calhoun 5’8″ Lutheran North: A quiick 2022 point guard who utilized his speed very effectively at both ends of the court. He played with excellent pace, but he was always under control which I really liked. He was good in transition and he had a very good pull up jumper.
Travis Green III Travis Green III 6'2" | SG Hazelwood Central | 2024 State MO 6’1″ Whitfield: An incoming 2024 guard who was on of the most impressive young players who I watched during the evening. He was a slashing threat who could finish well in the lane, but he could also stop and elevate on the jumper and knock it down. He also had 3-point range and the ability to go coast to coast for layups in transition.
