Expo 250: Daniel’s Take: Wing/Forwards

The Expo 250 showcased some of the top talent in the state. Many of the players at the expo are ranked in their class. All of them looking to get exposure and feedback about what they can do to enhance their game. Lets take a look at the wing/forwards who caught my eye.

DeAjuan SteppDeAjuanStepp6'5" | SFWest Jessamine | 2021StateKY- 2021- West Jessamine- DeAjuan has some great natural ability. At 6’5" he can guard multiple positions. He has good athletic ability that helps him be able to defend and rebound. Stepp has a good handle. You can play him at multiple positions on both ends of the floor. He is a player who could be a good utility player at the next level.

Tyson BarrettTysonBarrett6'7" | SFFrederick Douglass | 2022StateKY- 2022- Frederick Douglass- Tyson displayed his full versatility. Barrett, who has now grown to 6’7" showed his ability to block shots and protect the paint. He also guarded out on the perimeter very well with his lateral movement. His ability to rebound and start the break helped his team to move in transition faster. Tyson has a nice pull up game. He showed his shot making ability all over the court.
